Three Missoula companies will deconstruct, decontaminate and demolish the former Sleepy Inn on West Broadway starting next week.
The city-owned site was purchased with long-term development in mind, but used as a congregate shelter for individuals who had nowhere else to stay and isolate during the COVID pandemic.
The Missoula Redevelopment Agency says 3 River Landworks, LLC is working with Abatement Contractors of Montana and Heritage Timberworks to complete demolition, decontamination and salvage.
Heritage Timber says they expect to salvage 60% or more of the building materials during the two month project.
